Application:
XLPE insulated Aluminum cable low voltage power cable underground cable aluminum core are used for for power supply circuits and power distribution ranging from substations and large-size industrial sites to small commercial buildings, indoors, cable trunking, outdoors and burried in the ground, for power stations, industry and switchgear as well as for urban supply networks.
Construction:
Conductor: Class 2 stranded aluminum as per IEC 60228 or as per ASTMB230/230M
Insulation: XLPE material and thickness shall be as per IEC 60502-1 rated for 90°C continuous operation.
Outer Sheath: PVC Type ST2 as per IEC 60502-1 or low smoke Halogen free Polyolefin ST7.
Special type of PVC sheathing material such as Fire Retardant PVC, Anti-Termite PVC, Anti-Rodent PVC, Sunlight resistant PVC, UV Resistance PVC, Low Smoke Zero Halogen are available on special request. Also, special sheathing materials such as MDPE or HDPE are available on request.
Operating characteristics
1. Cable laying temperature: ≥0°C
2. Cable conductor long-term allowable working temperature:≤90°C
3. Higest working temperature of cable in case of short circuit (the longest lasting time is not over 5s): 250°C
4. Minimum allowable bending radius: Single core cable: 20D mm; multi-core cable: 15D mm
